Jan Ganzel

Jan Ganzel is an experienced fire service professional with a diverse background in emergency response and training. Currently serving as Training Coordinator for the Firefighter Training Division at the State of Michigan Bureau of Fire Services since October 2017, Jan also contributes as a Pit Road Firefighter at Michigan International Speedway and holds the position of Senior Instructor at the Jackson County Fire Academy. Additional experience includes roles as a Public Safety Officer with Blackman-Leoni Dept. of Public Safety, Sheriff's Deputy with Antrim County Sheriff's Dept., Rescue Captain at Bellaire District Fire Department, Police Officer at Bellaire Police Dept., and Dispatcher at Antrim County Sheriffs Dept. Jan Ganzel’s educational background includes attendance at The Citadel from 1987 to 1991.
