Chuck Werner has over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. Chuck started their career in 1996 at NSG Pilkington as a Production Leader, Manufacturing Supervisor, and Process Improver/Engineer. In 2009, they became a Product Development Consultant at The Safest Design. From 2010 to 2013, they worked at Guilford Performance Textiles by Lear Corporation as a Quality Manager and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt - VP at Comerica Bank. Since 2016, they have been the Manager Operational Excellence / Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt at Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center.

Chuck Werner obtained their Diploma from Onsted High School in 1985. Chuck then attended Eastern Michigan University from 1988-1991, studying Political Science and Public Administration. In 1996, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Leadership from Baker College Business and Corporate Services. Chuck also holds a Lean Six Sigma Master Blackbelt certification from Villanova University.
