Cole Selman

Cole Selman has a diverse work experience in the music industry and academia. Cole is currently serving as Co-President of the Michigan Music Business Club, where they have implemented a comprehensive new member program and fostered diversity and inclusion within the club. Cole has also held roles as Chief Experience Officer, Head of Recruitment, Conference Team Vice President, and Strategic Development Team Member within the club.

In addition, Cole is a Co-Founder and CEO of Common Ground Artist Collective LLC, a company they established in 2022.

Cole has also gained experience as a Creative Innovation Intern at Republic Records, where they collaborated with industry executives, conducted research on emerging technologies in the music industry, and developed innovative digital artist worlds and activations.

Previously, they worked as an Artists and Repertoire Intern at Dim Mak and as a Museum of Natural History Fossil Preparator & Research Assistant at the University of Michigan.

Cole Selman attended Mahwah High School from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained a High School Diploma. Cole then enrolled at the University of Michigan from 2021 to 2025, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cognitive Science and Philosophy. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained the Advanced Open Water Diver certification from Scuba & Nitrox Safety International in 2022.
