Michael Humphries

Michael Humphries has a diverse work experience in healthcare management and clinical operations. Michael started their career at Detroit Medical Center, where they held various roles from Manager to Assistant Manager, Staff RN, and Tech in departments including POH/PACU, CVICU, NICU, and ER. In 2003, they joined Garden City Hospital as the Director of Anesthesia Pain Service. After seven years, they transitioned to Prizm Pain Specialists, where they served as the Executive Director until 2023. Currently, they are the Director of Clinical Operations at Michigan Pain Consultants.

Michael Humphries began their education at Henry Ford College from 1990 to 1993, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Following this, they attended Wayne State University from 1993 to 1995, focusing on English Literature (British and Commonwealth) without obtaining a degree. Later on, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Chamberlain University from 2007 to 2009. In terms of additional certifications, Michael obtained their Registered Nurse certification from the State of Michigan in September 1993.
