Steven Cummins

Steven Cummins is an experienced Environmental Lab Analyst III at the City of Ann Arbor since August 2022, previously serving as Chemist I at the Great Lakes Water Authority and Water Research Analyst for the City of Columbus. At the City of Columbus, Steven contributed to key Water Research Foundation projects, focusing on optimizing ozone and biofilter processes and enhancing data quality through refined sampling procedures. As a Graduate Assistant at the University of Toledo, Steven conducted significant research on biological-based disinfectant byproduct precursors, biofilm characterization, and bacterial growth impacts. Steven holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Toledo and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
