Doug Gage

Doug Gage is a seasoned academic and industry professional in the field of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Currently serving as a Professor at Michigan State University since November 2007, Doug Gage has held multiple leadership roles including Interim Vice President for Research and Innovation and Assistant Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies. Prior to this, Doug Gage was a Senior Director at Pfizer from 2002 to 2007, where responsibilities included leading the Biomarker Technology Group and later serving as Department Head of Discovery Biomarkers. Doug Gage began academic career as an Associate Professor at Michigan State University from January 1999 to March 2002, after earning a Ph.D. in Botany from The University of Texas at Austin in 1985.
