Kate Fedewa O'Connor

Kate Fedewa O'Connor serves as the Associate Chair of Undergraduate Studies in Writing, Rhetoric, and Culture at Michigan State University, where contributions include the design and teaching of online and face-to-face courses, as well as initiatives aimed at enhancing department and college teaching. O'Connor has held various roles, such as Academic Specialist of Teaching and Assistant Director of Undergraduate Studies in Writing, Rhetoric, and American Cultures, focusing on curriculum design and professional development. Additionally, O'Connor has experience as a freelance writer and editor, providing valuable feedback on manuscripts, and previously worked as a Writing Consultant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning the UW-Madison Early Excellence in Teaching Award in 2010. O'Connor holds a Ph.D. in Medieval Literature and History of Rhetoric from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's Degree in English, History, and Classics from Michigan State University.
