Murtaza Lokhandwala

Murtaza Lokhandwala is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in human resources technology at Michigan State University since 2004. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of HR IT, Murtaza leads teams and architects systems focused on intuitive design and enhancing ERP and SaaS products. Previously, as an SAP HCM Technical Lead, Murtaza guided a team of developers in supporting and enhancing SAP solutions for business processes. Earlier roles include HRIS Technical Lead, where Murtaza oversaw the conversion of custom applications to SAP, and J2EE Developer, responsible for the development of the well-received Student Employment System. Murtaza holds a Master’s degree in Material Science and Engineering from Michigan State University and a Bachelor's degree in Rubber Technology from L.D. College of Engineering.
