Steve Wood

Steve Wood is an experienced music educator and musician with a career spanning over four decades. Currently serving as a saxophone teacher at Michigan State University since September 2013, Steve also teaches music at Cranbrook Educational Community, a position held since September 2003. Additionally, Steve has been self-employed as a musician and educator since June 1978. Previous experience includes a short tenure as a saxophone teacher at the University of Michigan in early 2006. Steve Wood holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan, earned between 1971 and 1975, and attended Oakland University from 1975 to 1977.
