Al Lewandowski

Al Lewandowski is a seasoned geographic educator with a comprehensive background in GIS and environmental education. Currently serving as a Remote Drone Pilot Certification Trainer at Eastern Michigan University, Lewandowski develops and delivers instruction that facilitates FAA Remote Pilot Certification for middle college students. As the Lead Instructor for The GRACE Project at Michigan Virtual, Lewandowski incorporates GIS/T tools to enhance educational experiences. Additional roles include participation in the ESRI T3G Institute and independent contracting, focusing on GIS/GPS instruction. With a Ph.D. in Natural Resources from The Ohio State University and multiple advanced degrees in Geography and Environmental Science, Lewandowski has a demonstrated commitment to advancing geographic instruction across various educational settings.
