Tom Janssens

Tom Janssens has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Tom is currently working as a Senior Process Integration Engineer at MICLEDI microdisplays since January 2023. Prior to this, they were a Team Leader Silicon Processing at Huawei Technologies Research and Development Belgium NV from March 2021 to January 2023. Tom also served as a Senior Process Integration Engineer at the same company from September 2015 to March 2021. In addition, Tom worked as a Process Development Engineer at ON Semiconductor from March 2012 to August 2015. Before that, they held various research roles at IMEC, including Researcher in Solar Cell Technology from 2008 to 2012, Researcher in Ultra Clean Processing from 2006 to 2008, and Researcher in Material Analysis from 2003 to 2006. Tom's academic background includes a PhD in Physics from IMEC, which they completed from 1997 to 2002.

Tom Janssens obtained a Master's degree in Physics from KU Leuven in the years 1993 to 1997. In addition, they obtained a certification in "Intro to Python for Data Science Course" from DataCamp in March 2017.
