Elaine Ong

Elaine Ong is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in senior roles across reputable organizations. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Miclyn Express Offshore since October 2023, Elaine previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at BW LPG from July 2015 to May 2023. Elaine's tenure at BW Group from November 2011 to June 2015 involved leading the Finance division, overseeing Corporate Finance, Tax, Financial Reporting, Business Controlling, and Financial Planning & Analysis functions. Earlier career roles include Regional Lead for Internal Audit at Kraft Foods and Vice-President of Financial Projects and Systems as well as Regional Controller for Asia Pacific at Teekay Shipping. Elaine holds a Chartered Accountant designation from CPA Canada and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from The University of British Columbia, along with a Graduate Certificate in Counselling from Swinburne University of Technology.
