Julia Johnson

Julia Johnson is a Senior Electrical Engineer at Micro-Leads Medical since October 2022, focusing on advanced implant pulse generator PCBA designs, including inductive charging systems and custom analog circuitry. Prior to this role, Julia has been an Engineer III at Sunrise Labs, Inc. since June 2016, where significant projects involved C++ and CSS development for medical devices, firmware debugging, and creating robust test harnesses for battery cycling. Julia has a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and has previous experience as a lifeguard and swim instructor at YMCA, as well as conducting research on functional electrical stimulation at the Functional Neural Interfaces Lab.
