Muhammad Waseem Abbas

Muhammad Waseem Abbas is a Sr. Firmware Engineer at Microavia since October 2023, previously serving as a Sr. Staff Engineer in Embedded Systems at Rapid Silicon from September 2022 to September 2023, where responsibilities included the design and development of embedded software for custom SoCs featuring RISC-V cores and Embedded FPGA. Prior to that, Muhammad held various roles at Siemens Digital Industries Software from December 2016 to August 2022, including Technical Lead Engineer for the Nucleus RTOS team and Senior Embedded Software Engineer, focusing on kernel development, debugging tools, and connectivity drivers. Early experience includes an internship at Atlas Honda Limited and a role in porting the Bluedroid Bluetooth stack to Nucleus RTOS. Muhammad holds a Master's degree in Electronics & Embedded Systems from Lahore University of Management Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology.
