Alicia Galvin MEd, RD, LD, IFNCP has extensive work experience in the field of nutrition. In 2009, they began as a Dietetic Intern at Baylor University Medical Center, followed by a role as a Clinical Dietitian in 2010. From 2012-2014, they worked as a Masters Level Counseling Intern at The LifeWorks Group, P.A. where they empowered clients to discover their own path to healing, emotionally and physically. From 2010-2016, they worked as a Registered Dietitian at CarePoint Partners, where they were responsible for clinical monitoring, nutrition assessment, and intervention for patients receiving enteral or parenteral nutrition in the home setting. In 2016, they began working as a Functional Medicine Dietitian at Carpathia Collaborative, using the most recent research to assist clients in uncovering the root cause of their ailments. In 2014, they opened their own practice, Alicia Galvin Smith, LLC, as a Registered Dietitian and Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner. In 2019, they Co-Founded SIBO Academy, and in 2022, they began as a Clinical Science Liason at Microbiome Labs.

Alicia Galvin MEd, RD, LD, IFNCP has a diverse educational background. Alicia Galvin began their studies in 2005 at Texas A&M University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Counseling in 2008. Alicia Galvin then continued their studies at the University of North Texas at Dallas, earning a Master's of Education in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor in 2013. In 2015, they completed their Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy certification in Integrative Nutrition.
