MicroHarvest is a food-tech start-up on a mission to build the sustainable food system of tomorrow using the power of microorganisms. 

Role Description: 

We are seeking an intern passionate about managing, cleansing, and presenting data in ways that serve end-users effectively. The ideal candidate will excel at understanding user needs and balancing these with practical and strategic data solutions. This role requires a keen ability to navigate between user expectations and feasible implementations. Duration is 4 months.

Responsibilities: 

  • Data Source Integration: Collect and connect various data sources to our visualization platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and integration. Process the data to enable effective visualization and insights.

  • Visualization Tool Development: Explore and establish a centralized approach to data visualization that may be universally applicable across different business sectors or determine if tailored solutions are more effective. Help us identify and implement the optimal visualization strategy.

  • Feedback Collection and Implementation: Continuously engage with users to obtain and incorporate their feedback regarding data sources and visualization preferences, enhancing the relevance and effectiveness of our data presentation.

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with a keen ability to manage and query databases.

  • Experience or strong interest in developing visualization tools and data processing pipelines.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of translating technical feedback into actionable improvements.
