Medical Simulation Training and Technical Development Specialist at MicroHealth

Michael Richartz has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michael began their career in 2009 as a Modeling and Simulation Specialist at Scientia Global, Inc., where they analyzed data for aircraft replacement and maintained security networks. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a SimOp and SimOp Trainer at Laerdal Medical, providing training in medical simulation operations. In 2018, they became a SimTech at SimLEARN VHA, responsible for simulation setups and technical support in various medical training classes. In 2019, they worked as a SimOp at Laerdal Medical through Engenium Staffing, traveling nationally to medical facilities. From 2020 to 2021, they served as a Simulation Operator and Step Up Lead at HealthTrust Workforce Solutions. Additionally, they have experience as an Owner at Technilube.com, an Amsoil Direct Jobber, and as an Actor/Talent/Model, Voice over, Writer, Producer, and Editor in freelance film and video production. Most recently, they joined MicroHealth in 2021 as a Medical Simulation Training and Technical Development Specialist.

Michael Richartz attended the University of Central Florida from 1985 to 1987, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film Production and Radio/Television Production. Before that, from 1983 to 1985, they studied at Miami Dade Community College, where they obtained an Associate in Science degree in Cinematography. During the same period, they also earned an Associate in Arts degree in General Education from Miami-Dade Community College.
