Drake Tien

Drake Tien currently serves as an Analyst in the Southeast Asia Practice at The Asia Group since May 2022. Previous experience includes positions as a Research Intern at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and leadership roles at The Johns Hopkins University SAIS, where Drake was President of the Southeast Asian League of Students and an Admissions Interviewer. Notable earlier roles encompass Senior Analyst at MODI Media, Assistant Negotiator at MEC, and various internships with the United Nations Millennium Campaign and the U.S. Department of State, where research and advocacy work were key responsibilities. Drake holds a Master of Arts in Southeast Asian Studies from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a Bachelor's Degree in Diplomacy and World Affairs from Occidental College.
