Vice President, Advanced Memory Systems at Micron Technology

Siva Makineni is the Vice President of Advanced Memory Systems at Micron Technology since August 2021, bringing extensive experience from a nearly 30-year tenure at Intel Corporation, where Makineni held multiple leadership roles including Vice President, Senior Director of IP Engineering, and Director of Silicon Engineering. Notable achievements include leading the development of competitive IP designs for Intel’s FPGA roadmap, overseeing the design and production ramp-up of core microprocessors, and successfully launching the first IA-based SOC for Intel. Makineni holds a Master of Science in Electrical/VLSI Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from VR Siddhartha Engineering College. Completion of the Advanced Leadership Program for Asian-American Executives at Stanford further underscores Makineni's commitment to leadership development in the technology sector.
