Tushar Mulgund

Tushar Mulgund is a seasoned firmware engineer with extensive experience in storage technologies and firmware development. Currently serving as a Principal Firmware Engineer at Micron Technology since March 2020, Tushar specializes in eMMC/UFS storage, FTL, and NAND storage firmware. Previously, Tushar held the position of Technologist at Western Digital, focusing on FTL, PCIe/NVMe, and SSD storage firmware from December 2016 to October 2019. Tushar’s earlier roles include Platform Software Senior Engineer at Dell, where responsibilities encompassed PCIe/NVMe-MI and chassis firmware development, and Senior Software Engineer at Awox Singapore, focusing on custom board bring up and driver development. Tushar began the professional journey as a Team Leader at Toshiba Software, working on MIPS processor enablement and embedded OS porting. Tushar holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation from Karnatak University and has foundational education from PC Jabin Science College and Junior Technical School in Hubli.
