Brandon spends most of his time working on-site with the customers to make sure that their micro-CT instruments are well maintained and producing beautiful and accurate images. As a service engineer, Brandon not only supports the systems, but he also likes to assist the users in fine-tuning their techniques in order to achieve better data using less resources. Formerly a petroleum geologist and technical professional, he is the first scientist to describe oil and gas production from connected nano-pores and hydraulically-induced fractures in shale using images produced from his lab’s SkyScan 1272. Brandon enjoys traveling to customer sites, is fearless in the surf lineup and wicked with a deck of cards, so make sure you ask.
Brandon earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and his master’s degree from Ohio University, both degrees in geology.
