Ilir Aliu

Ilir Aliu has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ilir is currently working as a CS Manager at Micropsi Industries, a robotics software company focused on developing task-specific machine learning for industrial robotics. At Micropsi, Ilir is involved in artificial intelligence, software, robot control software, and predictive maintenance.

Prior to their current role, Ilir worked as a Corporate Innovation Manager at GlassDollar, where they facilitated the adoption of new technologies by corporations through partnerships with startups.

Ilir also spent time at Siemens Energy, where they held two roles. As an Innovation Lab Project Driver, they implemented collaborative robots in combustion manufacturing and managed internal financing. Later, as an Innovation Lab Manager, they led a team and oversaw the development and implementation of technologies for gas turbines.

Before Siemens Energy, Ilir worked at Siemens, where they were responsible for managing the Innovation Lab for gas turbines. Ilir also served as a Project Management Assistant, helping transform the manufacturing operations into modern working cultures.

Ilir has previous experience in sales and customer service, having worked at Garden Center Rudow - Tree Nursery and GermanyConcierge Incoming & Events GmbH. Ilir also gained technical skills during their internship at Wilking & Tarrach Metallbau, where they were involved in design, planning, and manufacturing of construction elements.

Ilir's career began at Der Holländer Pflanzencenter GmbH, where they worked as a Consultant and Salesman for ten years.

Ilir Aliu's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin. Ilir also obtained another Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. Additionally, Ilir Aliu earned an Abitur (German high school diploma) while working through the Zweiter Bildungsweg program at Kolleg Schöneberg. In terms of additional certifications, they completed the CB3 Online Training as well as the e-Series Application Track, e-Series Core Track, and e-Series Pro Track courses, all provided by Universal Robots A/S in July 2020.
