Amiti Maloy

Amiti Maloy is a Middle School Science Teacher at Mid-Pacific since September 2025, with prior experience as a Substitute Teacher at Kamehameha Schools. Amiti served as the Social Media and News Coordinator for the Geography and Environment Department at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from August 2020 to June 2025, managing social media presence and supporting research promotion. Additional roles include Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant and Co-Coordinator for the East-West Fest 2023. Previous experience includes positions at Kupu, the Peace Corps as a Chemistry Educator, and involvement in community service projects such as Habitat for Humanity and United Way. Amiti holds a PhD and Master’s degree in Geography and Environment from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, an MS in Integrated Marketing and Communications from West Virginia University, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Public Relations from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
