Brian Wood

Brian Wood, CBTE, currently serves as the Studios Engineering Manager at SDPB since January 2016, where oversight includes supervising an engineering team of five and managing a network operations team of eight. In addition, Brian has worked as a part-time Camera Shader and Camera Operator for Midco Sports Network since May 2018. Previous experience includes freelance camera shading for live sporting events with major networks such as ESPN, CBS Sports, and NBC Sports from January 2014 to January 2016, and serving as a Broadcast Maintenance Engineer at BYUtv from January 2010 to January 2016, where responsibilities included engineering live sports and studio shows while also educating students on camera shading techniques. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University, earned between 2003 and 2009.
