Afshin Etemad

Afshin Etemad began their work experience in 2005 as a Human Resources Generalist at Elite Estate Consultancy Group. Afshin then moved on to work as an HR Manager at Golden Deer Trading Group in 2006. In 2007, they became a Business Development Manager at Petro Allied International (PAI), an oil and gas product company based in Dubai. Their most recent role was as the Head of Human Resources/People Operations at MBC Group, starting in 2010. In this role, they developed an HR strategy to support the company's overall business goals, served as a strategic business advisor to the executive management team, and implemented a strong recruiting and retention strategy.

Afshin Etemad has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from the American University in Dubai. Additionally, they have completed a Business and Management program focused on Entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School. Afshin also holds a Master of International Business degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Wollongong. In terms of certifications, they obtained The Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) certification from the WorldatWork Society of Certified Professionals in September 2013.
