Alaa Awada

Creative/development Producer at Middle East Broadcasting Center

Alaa Awada has several years of experience in the broadcasting industry, primarily working for the Middle East Broadcasting Center (MBC). In 2010, Alaa started as a Production Assistant, providing support to the Producer and assisting with various tasks throughout the production process. This included writing coverage on scripts, drafting letters, making phone calls, coordinating fundraising, and handling administrative duties. Alaa then transitioned to the role of Assistant Producer in 2012, continuing to contribute to the production process and assisting with securing clearances for copyright materials and arranging business meetings. In 2014, Alaa was promoted to Associate Producer, taking on additional responsibilities within the company. Finally, in December 2016, Alaa became a Creative/Development Producer at MBC.

Alaa Awada completed their primary and secondary education from 1993 to 2005 at College Des Peres Antonins. Following that, they attended the American University of Science and Technology from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio and Television.
