Incoming Director Of Business And Op. (effective 2025) | Head Of Business Planning And Op. at Middle East Broadcasting Center

Stephanie Joane has over 15 years of experience in operations and business planning in the media and technology investment industries. Stephanie most recently served as the Head of Business Planning & Operations at Middle East Broadcasting Center starting from June 2019. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing investments and reporting to C-level executives.

Prior to that, Stephanie held the position of Senior Manager - Business Planning and Operations at Middle East Broadcasting Center from August 2015 to June 2019. In this role, they managed a team of 30+ professionals and was responsible for operations, finance, strategy, and business planning for large-scale productions, projects, platforms, and entertainment events in the GCC and MENA regions. Stephanie also implemented digital transformation initiatives to shift from linear to digital channels.

Before joining Middle East Broadcasting Center, Stephanie worked at MTV Lebanon as a Sr. Operations and Business Planning Manager from May 2011 to September 2013, and as an Operations Manager from May 2010 to May 2011. Stephanie also held the position of Operations and Business Planning Manager at City Films Beirut from November 2007 to October 2010, and as an Operations Manager at VTR Beirut from December 2005 to November 2007.

Stephanie Joane has a diverse education history with a focus on business administration and management. Stephanie obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media and communication, Audiovisual studies, with a minor in TV, Cinema and Advertising production from Holy Spirit University of Kaslik - USEK in 2009. In 2012, they completed a Multimedia and Online Journalism Diploma from the American University of Beirut.

From there, Stephanie pursued various courses and programs to enhance their skills and knowledge in different areas. In 2015, they took a Fashion Design and Drawing course at the University of the Arts London. Stephanie then attended the Ecommerce and E-Marketing course in 2016 and the 3D Design and Printing course in 2018, both also at the University of the Arts London.

Stephanie's interest in business led their to enroll in the Global Master of Business Administration | EMBA | MBA program at ESCP Business School, where they studied from 2018 to 2022. During this time, they also completed the Advanced Excel for Managers & Financial Modeling certification from ESCP Business School in February 2021.

In 2017, Stephanie attended the Strategy in the Age of Digital Disruption program at INSEAD, followed by the Building Digital Partnerships and Ecosystems program in 2020. Furthermore, they participated in an Innovation seminar at the Texas McCombs School of Business in 2022.

Stephanie is currently pursuing the Real Estate and Finance Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, which they started in an unknown year and is expected to complete in 2023.

In terms of additional certifications, Stephanie obtained the Strategy and Digital Disruption certification from INSEAD in April 2017. Stephanie also achieved a high score on the TOEFL IBT - English Proficiency Test in October 2016.
