Salam Al-Mahadin

Salam Al-Mahadin is currently the President of Middle East University Jordan, having previously held various leadership positions such as Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Acting President, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dean of Arts and Sciences at the same institution. Prior to this, Salam Al-Mahadin worked as a freelance translator, Professor of Translation and Cultural Studies, Deputy Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies, and Head of the English Department. Salam Al-Mahadin also has experience in academic coordination and education abroad programs. With a Ph.D. in Discourse Analysis and a background in English/Arabic Translation and Literature, Salam Al-Mahadin has a strong academic foundation.
