Greg Curless

Greg Curless is an experienced IT Security professional with a robust background in network security and cybersecurity. Currently serving as an IT Security Engineer at Middle Tennessee Electric since June 2022, Greg previously held significant roles at Vanderbilt University from 2011 to 2022, culminating as Principal Cybersecurity Architect. At Vanderbilt, Greg undertook various positions, including Network Security Engineer III and Team Lead, following the consolidation of network security teams. Earlier career experiences include leadership roles at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and technical positions at Middle Tennessee State University and Inforum, Inc./MedStat. Greg holds a BS in Computer Information Systems from Lipscomb University, earned in 1989.
