Katie H.

Katie H. is currently a GIS and Trail Management Intern at Middlebury Area Land Trust since May 2024, while also serving as a Geography Research Assistant at Middlebury College since January 2022. In this role, Katie fosters community engagement through discussions on social justice issues and organizes bi-weekly Geography Forums. Additionally, Katie's experience includes a position as a Resident Assistant, providing guidance to first-year students and managing residential activities and tasks. As an Associate at the Institute for Climate and Peace from June 2023 to May 2024, Katie contributed to climate change and peacebuilding projects and ensured quality delivery of initiatives. Notably, as a Program Facilitator at UWC Korea's Youth Leadership Forum 2022, Katie facilitated discussions on refugee human rights and organized presentations for participants. Katie is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Justice and Geography at Middlebury College, and previously earned a bilingual International Baccalaureate diploma at UWC Robert Bosch College.
