Jade Owen

Jade Owen currently serves as the Manager of Research Design and Policy Development at Nunavut Arctic College, a position held since July 2022. Previously, Jade was a Project Advisor for Marine Affairs at Dalhousie University from November 2017 to June 2022 and worked as a Social Science Advisor and Communications Specialist for the Government of Nunavut between September 2015 and June 2020. Earlier experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Concordia University from September 2012 to September 2015. Jade is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Oceans and Fisheries at The University of British Columbia, with an expected completion date in April 2025, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the University of Victoria, earned in 2012.
