Olga Sanchez

Olga Sanchez, PhD, is an accomplished academic and artistic leader in the field of theatre. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Theatre at Middlebury since July 2020, Sanchez also contributes as the Co-Producing Artistic Director for The Dogteam Theatre Project, which focuses on transformative experiences for artists and audiences. Previously, Sanchez was the Artistic Director and is now Artistic Director Emerita at Milagro Theatre, an organization dedicated to Latino theatre and arts education. Additional roles include serving on the advisory board of the Latinx Theatre Commons and editing for Palindromist Press. Sanchez holds a Ph.D. in Theatre Arts from the University of Oregon, as well as a Master's in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Hunter College.
