Tina Mitchell

Tina Mitchell is an accomplished theatre educator and public speaking coach with extensive experience in various academic institutions. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Theatre at Long Island University and an Associate Professor at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Tina has also held positions as an Adjunct Lecturer at Barnard College and Brown University, as well as a Visiting Professor at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. With a focus on physical expression and effective communication, Tina has designed and facilitated instruction in techniques such as the Suzuki Method, Viewpoints, and Laban for both undergraduate and graduate students. Additionally, Tina runs Mitchell Productions Inc., offering public speaking workshops to corporate executives, emphasizing storytelling and presentation skills. Education includes a Master of Arts specializing in Performance from Charles Sturt University, advanced training in Suzuki and Viewpoints from SITI Company, and an Advanced Diploma of Arts in Acting from Adelaide College of the Arts.
