Curtis Hughes has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various roles and industries. Curtis is currently the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Midrex Technologies, where they define and executes the company's global technology strategy. Curtis also serves on the Midrex Executive Leadership Team and advises the innovation and talent development teams. In 2021, they joined Microsoft as part of the Corporate Customer Council - Manufacturing. Prior to these roles, Curtis was an International Speaker for nearly 15 years, delivering sessions on topics such as digital transformation, leadership, and innovation. Earlier in their career, Curtis held positions as a Senior Information Architect, Programmer/Analyst, and Application Developer. Curtis Hughes obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1998 to 2000. In 2017 to 2018, they pursued further education at Queens University of Charlotte and completed the Executive Leadership Institute program offered by the McColl School of Business.
