Ian Smith

Ian Smith is an experienced HR professional with a strong background in leading HR divisions across various organizations. Currently serving as HR Director at Midway Care Group since April 2021, Ian previously held the position of Head of HR at Citron Hygiene and Cannon Hygiene Limited, where responsibilities included transitioning HR practices during corporate changes. Ian also contributed to HR functions at OCS/Cannon Hygiene UK and Paragon Skills, focusing on business partnering and strategic HR initiatives. Prior experience includes roles at Brakes Group and npower, where Ian was involved in project management, integration efforts, and the establishment of HR departments. Ian holds a Master’s Degree in HRM and is part qualified in CIPD.
