Denise Marsolek

Denise Marsolek has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Denise is currently the Director of Compliance at MidWestOne Bank since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at U.S. Bank for several years, starting in 2014 as the Vice President and Senior Compliance Manager - Program Operations, where they managed a team responsible for various compliance processes. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Compliance Manager - Regulatory Change Management at U.S. Bank, overseeing the implementation of compliance program changes. Before joining U.S. Bank, Denise worked at Wells Fargo from 2002 to 2013, holding various roles including Vice President & Project Management Manager, Vice President/Compliance Manager/Ops Risk Manager, and Vice President/Project Management Manager. Their responsibilities involved managing complex projects and programs related to legal, regulatory, and compliance matters. Denise also worked at Wells Fargo Bank, NA from 1996 to 2001 as a Trust Officer/Operations Manager and Account Representative/Business Analyst. Prior to that, they started their career as a Debt Management Analyst at U.S. Bank in 1994.

Denise Marsolek completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Business/Economics & French from St. Catherine University in 1994. Later on, they pursued further educational achievements by enrolling in the St. Catherine University MAOL Program, where they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Organizational Leadership from 1998 to 2006.
