Azhar Savanur is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at MIGAL Galilee Research Institute since July 2018 and has concurrently held positions as a Kothari Fellow and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Indian Institute of Science since October 2014. Research focuses on the therapeutic applications of antioxidant nanozymes for the treatment of Parkinson's disease using mouse models. Azhar completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Glycobiology and cancer at Karnatak University from 2008 to 2014.
