Alan Peterson

Alan Peterson has over twenty years of experience in software engineering and development. From 1991 to 2000, they worked as a Research Engineer at Apple. From 2000 to 2005, they worked as a Director at Reactivity. From 2005 to 2009, they were the Leader of Search & Head Spamfighter at hi5 Networks, Inc. From 2009 to 2011, they were the Senior Web Application Architect at Coverity. From 2011 to 2014, they were the Senior Platform Architect and Director at Synopsys (Software Integrity Group). From 2014 to 2020, they were the VP of Engineering and Director of Platform Engineering at Migo. During their time at Migo, they grew the Engineering team from ten to over fifty high-caliber engineers and engineering managers.

Alan Peterson has a Masters of Environmental Science & Management from UC Santa Barbara (1997-1999), a BS from Stanford University in Symbolic Systems (1987-1991), and attended Glendale High School.
