Ishaan Shah currently holds the position of Lead Researcher at the United Nations Foundation and co-leads The Engine Room as part of the Our Future Agenda initiative, focusing on reimagining the UN for contemporary needs. Shah is a member of the Youth Reference Group at the United Nations Youth Office, providing strategic guidance representing diverse youth perspectives. Additionally, Shah contributes to the Global Commission on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking as a Supply Chain Workstream Member and serves as Co-Convener for the Group of Partners for Youth Affairs, promoting meaningful youth engagement. Shah also serves as the UK Youth Delegate to the Commission on the Status of Women, addressing issues related to gender equality and human rights, and is involved with various initiatives such as the Young Feminist Caucus, UNHCR's Young Champions program, and the UN Network on Migration. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from King's College London and a High School Diploma from Haberdashers' Boys' School.
