Dean Brunne has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Dean started their career at WestJet, where they worked as a Senior Business Analyst, managing the requirements for a large implementation of a new IVR system. Following this, Dean worked at Olympia Trust Company as a Product Manager, overseeing the modernization of the RRSP management software.

In 2012, Dean co-founded Fat Pony Software, where they developed a cloud-based inventory management program for the retail car dealership industry. Dean worked closely with a retail group to understand their needs and address gaps in existing technologies, resulting in the release of Wheelbase in early 2013.

Dean later joined CIBC as a Senior Business Analyst and played a key role in integrating and implementing a FICO IVR caller technology to improve the efficiency of the debt collection process.

Subsequently, Dean joined RBC Capital Markets as an Associate Director Business Analysis, leading a team that supported sub-ledger and Volcker reporting systems. Dean also contributed to the design and ideation of a large-scale enterprise architectural redesign aiming to improve internal processes. Dean continued their career at RBC, becoming the Director of Business Analysis for Finance IT. Dean led a team of over 50 Business Analysts responsible for delivering and standardizing source data for multiple internal systems, establishing an enterprise-wide hub for Finance data.

After leaving RBC, Dean worked at Sionic Advisors, where they served as a Senior Business Analyst and later as a Delivery Manager. In these roles, they contributed to various projects and collaborated closely with internal customer groups.

Dean then joined Scotiabank as a Senior Product Specialist, working on product-related tasks. Following this, they joined BMO as a Project Manager, overseeing the Market Risk - FRTB project.

Most recently, Dean joined Migrations.ml as a Senior Product Specialist, leveraging their expertise in product management.

Dean Brunne attended Wilfrid Laurier University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
