Simon Heuberger has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Simon started their career as a Proofreader at Gemino GmbH in 2007 and worked there until 2011. Subsequently, they served as a Lecturer in German at Axioma Language School, PET Languages, and Inlingua from 2011 to 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at FOKUS Sprachen & Seminare Augsburg_Berlin as the Director of Studies German. Simon also worked as a Research Assistant and German Teacher at the University of Warwick during the same period.

In 2013, Simon joined the British American Security Information Council (BASIC) as a Research Fellow, where they worked until 2014. Prior to this, they completed a Master's degree in Sociology at the University of Warwick from 2012 to 2014. Before entering academia, they obtained a Civil Service qualification from Friedel-Eder-Schule in Germany in 2003. Simon's education began in Germany, where they completed their German Abitur at the German High School Cairo, Egypt, from 1998 to 2003. Simon attended High School Kirchheim in Germany from 1994 to 1998, and prior to that, they completed their early schooling at the German School Lagos, Nigeria, from 1991 to 1994.
