Alex Gayan

Alex Gayan currently serves as VP of Engineering at MikMak since August 2024. Prior experience includes roles at Adobe from September 2018 to September 2024, where Alex held various senior management positions in Engineering and Site Reliability. Alex contributed as Director of Platform Engineering and other leadership roles at Magento Commerce from November 2015 to August 2018, and managed IT Operations at eBay between July 2009 and November 2015, focusing on IT department performance and budget management. Previous positions also include Principal Consultant at Oracle, Consultant at Abast Solutions, and DBA at Sogeti. Alex holds an Engineering degree in Information Technology from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and a Master in Information Technology Management from La Salle BCN, along with certifications in Management 3.0 and a Leisure Craft Skipper qualification.
