Clare Adrien

Clare Adrien has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of product design. Clare began their career as a User Interface Design Intern at Tencent in 2012, where they led the design for a music app on the mobile platform and also worked on Tencent Weibo.

In 2011, Clare worked as a Consumer Experience Design Intern at Motorola Mobility, where they designed the user interface for calendar and alarm applications on the Android platform. Their responsibilities included research, creating Photoshop/Illustrator comps, building Flash prototypes, and conducting user testing.

Following their internships, Clare joined Palantir Technologies in 2013 as a Product Designer Intern and continued working with the company until 2019 in the role of a Product Designer. During their time at Palantir, they worked extensively on the Gotham platform core product and add-on analytical modules, which resulted in securing multiple contracts for the company.

In 2014, Clare briefly worked as a Teaching Assistant for Structural Design at Harvard University before returning to Palantir Technologies as a Product Designer Intern.

From 2019 to 2023, Clare worked at Meta (formerly Facebook) as a Product Designer. Clare led designs for Facebook Connectivity, driving and shipping a B2B web platform, while also designing consumer-facing mobile products to help people in emerging markets stay connected. Additionally, they led design strategy and implementation within Messenger Trust to enhance user experience through end-to-end encryption.

Clare's most recent position is with MileIQ as a Senior Product Designer, starting in 2023.

Clare Adrien obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Product Design from Stanford University in the years 2008 to 2012. Following this, Clare pursued higher education at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design from 2012 to 2016, where they completed their Master of Architecture degree.
