Donald Poe has extensive work experience in the technology field. Donald started their career as a Technical Support Intern at the County of San Diego, where they provided technical support and performed tasks such as removing parts from out of service PCs and building computers with parts to improve their performance. Donald also created a cleaning batch file using the Windows command line for regular use in the lab.

Following their internship, Donald worked as a PC Support Specialist at the San Diego Tourism Authority for six years. In this role, they provided support for computer systems and assisted users with troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Afterwards, they joined the University of San Diego Law School as a Technology Services Specialist. Donald worked there for 20 years, providing various technology-related services and support to the faculty, staff, and students.

Currently, Donald is working at Miles Technologies as an Information Technology Support Consultant. In this role, they provide onsite support to small to medium-sized businesses, implements technology solutions, and offers consulting and hands-on technical support to clients.

Throughout their career, Donald Poe has gained a wealth of experience in the technology industry, with a strong focus on technical support and customer service.

Donald Poe began their education journey in 1989 and completed their A.A. degree in General with a Computer Science Emphasis from Grossmont College in 1991. Donald then pursued further education at Grossmont College and earned an A.S. degree in Local Area Networking in 1994.

In terms of additional certifications, Donald obtained certificates in various subjects including Learning Windows Terminal, Windows Server 2022: Install and Configure Active Directory, An Artists Complete NFT Guide: Sell Your First Digital Art, Microsoft SQL Server 2016: Query Data, Learn SQL Course, Responsive Website Design In Adobe XD, and Digital Branding and Engagement. These certifications were obtained between 2018 and 2022 from institutions such as LinkedIn, StackSkills, Codecademy, and edX.
