Cybersecurity Incident Response (ase-sec) at Miles Technologies

Izzy Spering has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They began their career at Walmart in 2010 as an Inventory Control Supervisor, where they worked until 2013. They then joined the United States Postal Service as a PSE Distributions & Window Clerk until 2015.

In 2015, Izzy transitioned to Closet & Storage Concepts, where they held the positions of CAD Tech and later Senior CAD Tech. They worked there until 2018.

During the same year, Izzy also worked briefly at Rocco's Collision Centers as a Jr. IT Systems Administrator.

In 2018, Izzy started working at Miles Technologies as a Helpdesk Consultant. They later became an IT Consultant and then took on the role of Film & Media Production / FPV Drone Pilot. In 2019, they transitioned to the role of SOC Analyst I & Support Specialist and remained in that position until 2021. From 2021 to 2022, Izzy held the position of SOC Analyst I & Enterprise Senior Support Specialist. Currently, they are working as a Cybersecurity Incident Response professional at Miles Technologies.

Izzy Spering completed their high school education at Hammonton High School from 2006 to 2010. After high school, they enrolled in The Art Institutes in 2012 to pursue a degree in Visual Effects & Motion Graphics. However, they transferred to DeVry University in 2016 and ultimately obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Technical Systems Management in 2018.

Izzy Spering has also obtained several certifications in addition to their formal education. Izzy received certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate from Microsoft in 2022. Izzy also earned certifications in Windows 2019 Hybrid assessment, Responsive Web Design from freeCodeCamp, and CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA. Additionally, they completed Software Development Boot Camps focused on website development and database design & development from Miles Technologies in 2018. Lastly, they obtained the Part 107 (Remote Pilot sUAS) certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in 2021.
