Head of Consumer Insights at Milieu Insight

Alyssa Chew has a diverse and extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Alyssa began their career in 2002 as a Brand Planner at DDB International, where they were responsible for transforming consumer research into actionable insights for brand communications and marketing strategies. From 2005 to 2007, they worked at Research International as a Qualitative Research Manager, overseeing qualitative projects and mentoring junior team members.

In 2008, Alyssa joined GfK Singapore as a Regional Account Manager, where they managed client portfolios in the telecommunication industry across 13 countries in the Asia Pacific region. Alyssa worked closely with clients such as Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, and LG.

From 2010 to 2011, Alyssa served as a Project Director in the Technology division at TNS Singapore, managing qualitative projects. Alyssa then joined Ipsos Singapore in 2011 as a Qualitative Research Director, responsible for growing the qualitative department and implementing regional client projects.

Alyssa joined OCBC Bank in 2012 as the VP of Customer Experience and Market Research, focusing on qualitative research. In 2013, they worked as a Freelance Research Consultant at Alyphant Inc. before joining Samsung Southeast Asia and Oceania in 2014. At Samsung, they served as a Consumer & Market Insights Manager and later as a Senior Manager, overseeing consumer and market insights projects.

In 2018, Alyssa took a break from their full-time career to focus on being a mother, during which they established their own company called Milk & Puree. As a Senior Consultant/Owner, they provided freelance market research consultancy services to businesses and agencies, helping them turn data into actionable market and consumer insights.

Most recently, Alyssa joined Milieu Insight in 2021 as the Head of Consumer Insights, leading consumer insights initiatives within the company.
