Samantha began their professional career as a Substitute Teacher at Sioux Falls School District. Before these roles, they founded Heritage Grant Writing and Consulting, where they worked on various grant projects. Samantha Chalmers holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Media Studies from the University of Sioux Falls. Samantha obtained this degree from 2000 to 2004. Samantha later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Journalism from The University of Kansas, completing it from 2004 to 2006.
