Charles Naughton

Charles Naughton serves as the Deputy Solicitor General for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe since September 2020, focusing on criminal prosecution, guardianship, child protection, and truancy matters. Prior to this role, Charles owned Scintilla Media, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in print media, and held positions as an associate attorney at several law firms, where responsibilities included handling landlord-tenant issues, civil matters, child custody, bankruptcy consultations, and consumer bankruptcy counseling. Charles has also provided legal education as a Contracts instructor at Minnesota School of Business. Charles earned a Juris Doctorate from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, Marketing, and Pre-Law from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
