Faris Avdic

Faris Avdic has a range of work experience in different industries. Faris started working as a Brand Manager and Head of Collaborations at Adaatude in 2017. In 2018, they became an Executive Board Member at Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and also worked as a Research Lab Associate at the University of California, Merced. In 2019, Faris interned as a Restoration Intern at Castle Air Museum. Later, they worked as a Photographer, Editor, and Designer at the University of California, Merced. In 2020, they gained experience as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at Delicato Family Wines and as a Registered Clubs & Organizations Student Advisor at the UC Merced Office of Student Involvement. Currently, Faris is working as an Aerospace Engineer at Millennium Engineering and Integration since 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Multipurpose Employee at The Copy Shop, Inc. from 2014 to 2020.

Faris Avdic completed their education at the University of California, Merced, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management & Business Economics from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned their High School Diploma from Redondo Union High School, graduating in 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Faris Avdic has obtained several certifications. In February 2021, they completed the Counterintelligence Awareness and Security Brief from the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), as well as Cyber Awareness and Insider Threat Awareness from the United States Department of Defense. Faris also completed the OPSEC Awareness for Military Members, DoD Employees and Contractors course from DCSA in February 2021.

Furthermore, Faris Avdic has obtained various certifications related to computer-aided design (CAD) software SOLIDWORKS. Faris completed the SOLIDWORKS Certified Associate Course, SOLIDWORKS File Management, SOLIDWORKS SimulationXpress, Introduction to SOLIDWORKS, SOLIDWORKS Advanced Assemblies, SOLIDWORKS Animation, SOLIDWORKS Drawings, and SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation courses from SolidProfessor between November and December 2019.

In June 2014, Faris Avdic obtained the certification as a Private Aircraft Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration. Additionally, they completed the Social/Behavioral Human Research Course offered by the CITI Program, A Division of BRANY in March 2019.
