Aviv Maish is a Spacecraft Mechanical Engineer at Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, since August 2023. Previously, Aviv held the role of Structures and Mechanism Subsystem Lead at PolySat from June 2018 to April 2024, managing bi-weekly progress meetings on structural design, conducting design reviews, and training new students. Aviv also served as the structures subsystem lead for the XCube project, which involved designing and manufacturing structural components for a payload carrier set to fly aboard NASA's ER-2 aircraft. Additional experience includes supporting cleanroom operations as a member of PolySat’s Assembly Test and Launch Operations team, and internships at Astranis Space Technologies and Momentus, focusing on hardware design and mechanical assembly for satellite systems. Aviv earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo in December 2022.
